Scorched Square Walnut & Boxwood

The blank was left as it came from the chainsaw, one side was left natural from where there had been a heart shake in the log. The cut sides have been scorched to soften the surface, the carbon was brushed away and then oiled with an eco-friendly hardwax oil. It has been hollowed out to a volume of 200ml and has a Spalted Holly lid with a handcut 12tpi thread ensuring a secure closure.
